The service life of PP melt blown filter cartridge mainly depends on what's type of water it filters.

Normal groundwater, river water and tap water, the general service life is about 3-6 months. Of course, it also needs to specific analysis according to the specific situation. The replacement cycle of PP melt blown filter cartridge is mainly based on the actual local water quality ,user habits,and the total flow amount of filtered water. Generally, it can be judged by naked eye observation.

If PP melt blown filter cartridge is brown, it means that it needs to be replaced. You can also wash the surface sediment to extend 1-2 weeks service life.However, it should be noted that some users in order to save costs and repeated cleaning, such behavior is wrong. It must be replaced at the end of its useful life, as using a failed PP melt blown filter cartridge will increase  RO filtration burden,  thus affecting the service life of the whole machine system.
